The world is full of contrast. Dark vs light. Every object is being hit with light and also casts a shadow. When drawing, a shadow highlights depth and emphasises how real the object is. Nothing is 2D. Everyone has light and dark in their life, the darkness adds depth. But there must always be a balance, if you’re in a bad situation you can find light, if you’re filled with light, there will always be darkness to come.
